For this semester I have high expectations. This is my 3th year in this career and I feel that this time I am more focus on it. I think that the past years I was not to much concentrate because I had so many other silly distractions, but this time is different. It will be more hard because this semester I have a work, I need to keep myself and I want to save money to travel next summer, and this winter too. Also, I want to know how is to be a film director, so I want to perform my own screenplay. I want to watch more movies, to read more, to travel more... in summary, I want to be a better student and more responsable with myself, so it´s a great challenge.

My name is Constanza Liberona. I was born in Santiago of Chile at October 17th, 1991. My parents are from Santiago too, he is a musician and she is secretary. When I was born we moved to La Florida, where my parents bought a small house in the limit of the city. When I was 2 years old my parents divorced.

I went to the children’s garden and school in La Florida and Puente Alto, and my mother worked at the same district, but when I was 8 years old, my mother’s company moved to Huechuraba. That year was very hard to me and my mother, so we moved to much close of the downtown. I changed school and friends. When I was 12 I changed school again, to the high school. My mother sold the old house in La Florida and bought an apartment in Santiago Centro, because she said that she was tired of lease. Also, we went to live with my old grandmother.

At the high school I met my best friends and we still be friends today. Here I started to know my way and I chose the humanistic elective, and watched a lot of movies, but cinema was not one of my options to study at college. When I left high school I liked very much social sciences, and I went to de college to study anthropology. But my family was in very hard economic troubles and I had to leave the college. That year, when I was 18, I stared to work in a videoclub and I liked very much cinema, so I took film classes in Balmaceda Arte Joven in my free time, so was then when I discovered that to be a filmmaker was my passion.

I kept working until I was 21, so then I went to college to study Cinema and here I am. My mother still working in the same company, and she became very religious, and my father retired and he is very excited with his music project.
